I am thrilled to announce that my exhibition "Olsenit" will be on display at Cafe Ateljee from 14.5.-11.6.

I have been inspired by the Olsen twins for a long time — not because of their careers as child actors, but because of what they have contributed to fashion. Their laid-back yet chic approach to style is something that can hardly be authentically replicated. This collection is inspired by some of their iconic fashion moments, like Mary-Kate’s beaten-up Kelly bag and Ashley with her green Balenciaga City bag, but I have never been that interested in their red carpet or glam looks. The main reason I started painting this collection was this oddly calm  vibe in pictures  of them taking smoking breaks together on the streets of New York City. There’s something so calm in such a simple moment shared between them, and that calmness is something that I have tried to capture in this collection, with my own twist.
